Laura Livingstone
Laura is a studio executive and VFX strategist from Armagh, Northern Ireland, with over 20 years in global entertainment. Most recently a Senior Manager at Netflix, she oversaw VFX strategy across a slate of scripted series and led cross-functional efforts spanning creative, technology, and innovation.
Before Netflix, Laura spent fifteen years in international production across feature films, episodic television, commercials, and immersive experiences, including work at Industrial Light & Magic. She spearheaded the feasibility study for Studio Ulster's virtual production campus in Belfast and successfully lobbied government to secure the funding.
Laura is a champion of using technology to elevate storytelling, from virtual production to generative AI. She's dedicated to industry sustainability, education, and mentoring the next generation of women in creative technology.
